If the only available stock is in our off-site warehouse it can be brought to the store location for you to try - you just need to contact the store within opening hours. Please note any requests received after 3.30pm will not arrive at the store until the following morning.

Andertons are pleased to offer this Fender Custom Shop ‘69 Stratocaster in Super Faded Aged Ocean Turquoise. Elegantly presented with an eye-catching roasted quartersawn Maple neck and a Deluxe Closet Classic finish, this Strat is guaranteed to turn heads wherever you bring it out.

Featuring a trio of Custom Shop ’69 Stratocaster pickups, this Strat provides the quintessential bell-like, woody Strat tones reminiscent of the classic Woodstock era. It's 1969 U-shaped neck feels comfortable in all playing positions, and its striking black pickguard with white pickup covers and knobs are the perfect finishing touches to this classy-looking Custom Shop.

‘69 Pickups

Arguably the most iconic sound in Strat history. The Custom Shop ‘69 pickups feature all the authentic ingredients to recreate the historic Woodstock Stratocaster tones - Alnico 5 magnets, Grey Fibre Bobbins, Enamel-Coated Magnet Wire and of course, period-correct pull-back Cloth Wire. Their thumping low-end, sparkling bell-like highs and strong dynamics produce a clear and powerful tone.

  • 1969 U - Not to be confused with the larger U-shaped necks of the early ‘50s, the ‘69 U-shaped neck profile offers players a fast-feeling neck with more pronounced shoulders.
  • Quartersawn Roasted Maple - Select cuts of Quartersawn Maple are chosen and then roasted for unparalleled strength and stability with reduced weight and increased resonance.
