The 4099 CORE+ Extreme SPL uses a pre-polarised condenser capsule with DPA’s CORE+ technology to deliver a clear, open and highly detailed sound. Its effective frequency range of 80 Hz to 17 kHz, with a gentle presence lift around 10 to 12 kHz, helps instruments cut through a mix without sounding harsh or artificial, making it ideal for both live reinforcement and studio recording.

Extreme SPL Handling with Low Distortion

Engineered for the loudest sources, the 4099 CORE+ maintains low distortion figures even at extremely high levels. With less than 0.5% THD at up to 135 dB SPL RMS and a maximum SPL of 145 dB SPL peak at 10% THD, it can comfortably handle aggressive brass, percussion and amplified instruments while preserving dynamics and transient detail.

Exceptional Isolation and Off-axis Rejection

The supercardioid polar pattern offers tight focus on the source with excellent rejection of bleed from neighbouring instruments and stage monitors.
