Product Description

Seymour Duncan have become renowned not just for their pickups, but also for their cutting-edge "dynamic" pedal designs. Just like their Catalina Chorus and Andromeda Delay units, the Silver Lake is a unique pedal within its class, capable of letting its reverb effects react to your playing dynamics.

But that isn't its only party trick, as the Seymour Duncan Silver Lake also boasts 8 reverb types and a plethora of controls, allowing you to tweak the perfect ambient tones. With stereo ins/outs for a super-wide engulfing reverb, as well as MIDI integration, the Silver Lake holds its own against the very best multi-verb processors around.

Dynamic Expression

The function that sets this pedal apart from others is its dynamic expression capabilities. This affects parameters of the reverb engines depending on how hard you play, meaning that you can attain swelling-style effects and much, much more.

With 3 dynamic settings (Off, Soft, Hard) determining how the Silver Lake processes the input signal, there are also 3 different parameter settings to choose from too. With Mix, Mod and Damp, the force of your playing can influence the amount of reverb (from subtle to drenched), the modulation depth (for otherworldly sounds), or the overall reverb level (for a ducking effect) respectively.

8 Reverb Types

The Silver Lake is a highly-versatile reverb stompbox, with 8 different tones available. Including classics like Room, Hall, Plate and Spring, there are also more experimental sounds such as Shimmer, Gated and Delay Verb. This means that both the purists and the forward-thinking sound-scapers are catered for, thanks to the diverse array of sounds on offer.
