Product Description
The Taylor Sunset Blvd 214ce Eclipse Burst Special Edition is a premium electro acoustic that blends Taylor’s famed Grand Auditorium versatility with a striking limited finish and upgraded tonewoods. With a torrefied Sitka spruce top, layered walnut body and C-Class bracing, it delivers a warm, responsive voice that shines on stage, in the studio or at home, all captured faithfully by the Expression System 2 electronics.
Designed as a true all-rounder, this right-handed cutaway model offers a comfortable playing experience and a balanced tonal profile that suits fingerstyle, flatpicking and strumming alike. Add in the sleek satin black hardware, 50th Anniversary Diamond fretboard inlays and a tan structured gig bag, and you have a special edition Taylor that looks as good as it sounds and is ready to travel.
Sunset Blvd Eclipse Burst Special Edition
The standout Sunset Blvd Eclipse Burst finish gives this 214ce a unique, high-end aesthetic that sets it apart from standard production models. The dark outer edges blend into a glowing centre, complementing the walnut back and sides and black pickguard for a cohesive, stage-ready look that will turn heads wherever you play.
Torrefied Sitka Spruce Top
The torrefied Sitka spruce top has been carefully heat-treated to simulate the ageing process of vintage acoustic guitars. This results in a more open, seasoned tone with enhanced warmth, quicker response and improved dynamic range, so your playing feels lively and expressive whether you are playing softly or digging in.
Layered Walnut Back and Sides
Layered walnut back and sides provide a clear, focused midrange with a touch of natural warmth, supporting the torrefied spruce top with a balanced, modern acoustic voice. The construction offers impressive durability and stability, making this guitar a reliable partner for regular gigging, rehearsals and travel.
Taylor C-Class Bracing and ES2 Electronics
Taylor’s C-Class bracing is engineered to increase volume, sustain and note-to-note harmony, giving chords a fuller bloom and single notes extra richness. Paired with the Expression System 2 pickup and preamp, your natural acoustic tone is translated with clarity and depth when plugged in, making this guitar ideal for live performance and recording.
