Product Description
The Summer School Electronics Class Reunion is a dual drive pedal that lets you blend a 90s Russian Muff inspired fuzz with the modern, amp-like Trash Panda overdrive in parallel. With independent drive, tone and diode selection on each side plus a master volume and blend control, it is a compact riff-writing machine that can move from tight, articulate drive to huge, saturated fuzz and everything in between.
On one side you get Summer School Electronics take on a classic 90s Russian Muff, voiced for thick, sustaining fuzz and massive low end. On the other, the Trash Panda circuit delivers touch-sensitive overdrive that feels like a pushed valve amp under your fingers. Run them separately or together, then use the blend knob to dial in exactly how much of each voice you want in your sound.
Each circuit has its own diode selection toggle, so you can switch between different clipping flavours on the fly. Silicon and LED options on both sides dramatically change the feel and response, from tighter and more focused to darker and heavier. By experimenting with the diode switches, drive and tone controls, you can unlock a huge palette of textures that respond musically to your playing and your guitar.
Whether you are stacking subtle drive into your amp, sculpting a wall of fuzz for doom riffs, or layering both circuits for complex, harmonically rich tones, the Class Reunion keeps everything under control with a single master volume. It is designed to inspire creativity, making it easy to stumble across new sounds and song ideas every time you step on it.
Parallel Muff and Trash Panda Circuits
The Class Reunion runs a 90s Russian Muff style fuzz and the Trash Panda overdrive in parallel, rather than simply stacking one into the other. This gives you far more control over your core sound, letting you retain clarity and punch from the overdrive while adding as much fuzz weight and sustain as you like.
Independent Controls for Each Side
Both the Muff side and the Trash Panda side feature their own drive and tone controls, so you can fine-tune gain and EQ for each circuit independently. This makes it easy to set up contrasting voices, such as a tight, mid-forward drive alongside a darker, scooped fuzz, and then blend to taste.
Flexible Diode Selection
Each side of the pedal includes a diode selection toggle that switches between silicon and LED clipping. On the Muff side, silicon delivers a more classic muff character while LED adds a darker, heavier low end. On the Trash Panda side, LED gives you the familiar amp-like overdrive, while silicon offers a lower output but crispier, fizzier drive for more cutting textures.
Master Volume and Blend Control
A master volume control sets your overall output level, making it simple to match or boost your bypassed signal. The blend knob lets you mix the Muff and Trash Panda circuits in any proportion, from pure overdrive to pure fuzz or any hybrid in between, opening up a wide range of unique, usable tones.
Features
- Dual Parallel Drive and Fuzz Circuits - Combines a 90s Russian Muff inspired fuzz with the Trash Panda overdrive running in parallel, giving you a broad spectrum of tones from subtle grit to massive saturation while retaining clarity and definition.
- Independent Drive and Tone Controls - Separate drive and tone knobs for each side let you sculpt the gain structure and EQ of the Muff and Trash Panda circuits individually, so you can build complex layered sounds that still sit perfectly in a mix.
- Silicon and LED Diode Options - Diode selection toggles on both sides provide distinct clipping flavours, from classic muff style fuzz and amp-like overdrive to darker, heavier or fizzier textures, greatly expanding the pedal’s sonic range.
- Master Volume and Blend Knobs - A global volume control and a dedicated blend knob make it easy to balance your overall level and dial in the perfect mix of overdrive and fuzz, turning the Class Reunion into a highly versatile tool for tone shaping and songwriting.
