It's perfectly finished with its single-ply black pickguard and aged Kluson tuners and genuinely looks like it's been someone's main guitar for the last 50 years. With its single pickup and simple controls this is the perfect guitar for players who shape their tone with their hands.

The Thunders features a lightweight double-cut Mahogany body with a rolled Rosewood fingerboard. It’s the classic Rock N Roll electric guitar wood combination with a focused tone that projects and gets better the louder you play it. Equally, it’s dynamic and sensitive, it pushes boundaries and demonstrates what can be achieved with your hands rather than an arsenal of pickups and controls. RNRR Dog Ear

The Rock N Roll Relics P90 pickup takes influence from the classic Dog Ear design of the late 1940s and ‘50s. It has a powerful, mid-focused tone that cuts through anything with a present top-end and a weighty richness that embellishes every note or chord. Full of harmonic sustain and musical overtones, the RNRR Relics P90 has a bark like no other. Built under guide from luthier legend, Grover Jackson, this pickup is made with all the key components of the original. It's slightly overwound and uses Alnico 5 magnets for even more thump and increased power!

Utilising an arsenal of ‘secret tools’ every Rock N Roll Relics guitar receives just the right amount of ageing and relicing. The guitars look and feel authentic, like they have stories to tell and like they have been someone’s number one for the last 30 or so years. Founded in 2005 by genuine Rock N Roll legend, Billy Rowe, Rock N Roll Relics blends Billy’s obsession with vintage ‘relic’d’ guitars, his love of premium boutique instruments and his passion for guitar building and maintenance. From humble beginnings in a make-shift workshop in a relative’s garage and a store on eBay, Billy grew RNRR to become one of the most prominent custom guitar workshops on the scene. Based in North Hollywood, Billy and his small team have built guitars for Billie Joe Armstrong, Glen Campbell and Bruce Kulick to name just a few. Everyone at Rock N Roll Relics is a guitarist, building what they love with a genuine passion for what they do.
