T-Type Humbuckers

First introduced in 1966, the Gibson T-Type humbucker is renowned for sharing many of the desirable attributes that are famously found on the esteemed earlier PAF pickups of the late ‘50s – early ‘60s. They have an articulate and open tonality with a musical dynamic range which suits a wide variety of different genres and playing styles. Thanks to the T-types Alnico 5 magnets these pickups offer a humbucker with a slight increase of power compared to other vintage-styled models along with a tighter bass response and a more punchy top end.
