Electric Guitars
Herman Li currently uses his signature PRS Chleo, whilst backed up by the impressive Ibanez EGEN18, S470, and Steve Vai JEM7V. whilst Sam Totman uses his signature STM Ibanez guitars, Ibanez Steve Vai JEM, a range of Ibanez RG models and the B.C. Rich Ironbird electric guitar.
Bass
The current bassist of Dragonforce Alicia Vigil uses a really simple pedal setup which comprises of a Boss TU-3 Chromatic Tuner and the Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi for thunderous distortion, and a powerful rig of bass amplifiers from the likes of Gallien-Krueger and Ampeg. The bass guitar of choice is the Gibson Grabber Bass due to its crispy low-end sound.
Amps
Herman Li uses Kemper profiling amplifiers for live and studio use. Li likes the practicality of using the Kemper because he can transfer his presets onto multiple Kemper profilers to make touring easier!
Pedals
Showing a true love for Boss Pedals, Herman Li uses the Boss ST-2 Power Stack Distortion Pedal, blending in the effects of other various Boss guitar effects pedals such as the Octave OC-3, Super Chorus CH-1 and Chorus Ensemble CE-5. Create the incredibly creative video game inspired sounds heard on many of Dragonforce's music with Digitech Whammy pedals.
