Drums. They're all about timing. Unless you have a natural inbuilt metronome, at some point you'll need to play to a timed click track. The TAMA RW200 Rhythm Watch attaches to your kit and lets you select your preferred speed quickly and easily.
Easy to use, quick to adjust
So you're on stage. It's a standard gig, with say, 8 songs at a bunch of different speeds. You can easily dial in your speed using the large right hand dial and backlit screen, or you can attach the optional foot-switch (sold separately) and just click through to the speed you need.
The unit can store 30 different song beats that are easy to program and store, and you can have anything between 35 and 250 BPM, with clicks on quarter notes, eights or triplets.
Hear your notes
For practise sessions, this unit has a speaker that's nice and loud, but if you want to keep your clicks to yourself you can attach some headphones. This makes it ideal for both stage and studio timekeeping.
Take it with you
This timer runs on either a 9V battery or a 9V DC cable and can easily attach to the RWH stand mount (sold separately). Just slot it in to your drum bag and get going.
Here's what TAMA Say About the RW200 Rhythm Watch
The first timekeeper designed specifically for the band's timekeeper, TAMA's Rhythm Watch has everything a drummer needs to make sure they stay on tempo-live and in the studio. Like the original Rhythm Watch, the RW200 features plenty of volume to use while playing real drums, a dial for quick tempo adjustments, separate volumes for quarter notes, eighths and triplets, but now features a large, easy to read backlit display, a more durable housing and keypad, and even more memory for pattern storage.
