The Supa Cobra is a versatile medium gain overdrive created by the Georgia-based Greer Amplification. They're known for classic designs and sounds across their amp and pedal ranges.
Finished in a stylish retro artwork, the Supa Cobra captures vintage rock and roll tone. Each parameter is extremely sensitive to its setting, so there's plenty of experimentation to be had despite the simplistic layout.
Clip switch
Placed in the centre of the pedal is a switch with three positions: FAT, LED and Opamp. Each setting has a specific flexible voicing. In FAT, you'll get full-body American tones. LED is the opposite; a tighter crunchy British sound best appreciated with high gain. In the middle is the Opamp, which delivers the Supa Cobra's natural drive.
Body dial
While the Supa Cobra houses a Treble knob, it replaces the usual bass with Body. It adds a unique voicing built specifically to produce presence, bass and extra gain all under one parameter. Rolled back, you get a clean, transparent overdrive. When pushed harder it increases the low-end response for a fatter sound.
