I love this amp. As an advanced beginner I dont really understand all the settings yet but even the 5 built in settings make some amazing sounds.

Took a while to find some settings that I liked , but a nice tone and the wireless and bluetooth features make plating to backing tracks so easy.

When set to acoustic mode my yamaha silent guitar sounds great on this, I enjoy it as much on this amp as I did listening to it through high quality head-pones. A totally unexpected surprise to me was how I could get my silent guitar to sound like an electric rock guitar when using the crunch, lead and brown settings! Hilarious fun, and when I then started to add in effects like T-Wah, Octave and Phaser I spent hours trying to sound like Jimi Hendrix and other rock greats. Fun, Fun, Fun!
I love the convenience of the wireless jack, literally you just pick it up and start playing with no messing about with leads.
The only thing that I don't like, but the sound is so good hence I still keeping this at 5 stars is the app for your phone is terrible. You have to bluetooth sync it each time. Its a shame as I would like to try and upload some of the katana patches to load a specific set of effects that match a particular song but can't be bothered with the app.
One additional thing I would like, if Boss do a Katana Air Mk II is the ability to put a foot switch in the back, so I can jump from one pedal effect to the other whilst pretending to be a rock guitarist......on my yamaha silent guitar......
All in all highly recommended even with the terrible app.

On the whole a great product and I am enjoying the frictionless experience of simply picking up my guitar and playing. The sound is brilliant for such a small lightweight device. I have experienced some odd drop-outs though, also some odd clicking noises. This may just be early teething issues, if it becomes an issue I’ll speak to Boss / Andertons. Would I recommend this, absolutely!

A fantastic amp- was undecided between this, yamaha and vox. I'm a yamaha guitar person so know yamaha would be good but lacked full tonal range, without buying all 3 thr and the vox is more click a sound, click an effect and that's about as deep as you can go excluding a few odd tweeks on each.. plus yamaha and vox either not wireless or only partly with the vox being Bluetooth.
The air is amazing with 50 plus really useful effects and now 4 can be used at any one time.plus up to 3 pages of adjustments for each effect and the ability to arrange the sound chain. This allows the air to produce any sound you want with great tone and loud enough to fill a 14x14 foot room.
If you want to just click a sound and effect you can do, making it easy or go to virtually infinite depth and sounds to get exactly what you want.
In a way sad to say that my big hughes and kettner amps prob won't be used much at all now but the world moves forward and this amp is part of that. Went into music shop the other day and it hit me that these big old tube amps just look like dinosaurs all of a sudden.
Wireless works perfectly and Bluetooth stable and with app giving infinite sounds and once Bluetooth paired no need to touch the amp again. It's easy to start to play.
Tones -with my eyes closed can match my hughes and kettner valve amp no problem.if you want to gig just add an frfr speaker from line out and choose output cab settings. No mucking about with amps pedals etc which I couldn't be bothered to do.
Literally a perfec amp for me and won't be going back. Not sure why Internet has some weak reviews it's brilliantly good.

Amazing range, depth and quality of sounds. The app is incredible and gives so many more options, with more being added all the time.
The weight of the unit was surprisingly low ( it feels like a toy!!!), but don't let that put you off...this thing is a real powerhouse!
I bought it to use as a practice amp, and it's also brilliant for that - it works perfectly at low volume so as not to annoy the rest of the house or the neighbours, and the ability to use headphones means it can run silently if you want it to!
The wireless unit has a very long range too and seemingly zero latency.
I highly recommend this product

Nice and light, easy-to-use, sounds pretty good. Best of all though, I like the fact that it makes practising at home so easy - just grab a guitar, plug the transmitter in and you're away!

I just love the pickup and go aspect of this amplifier. The phone app is amazing and makes it very easy to set up 6 preset settings as well as full manual control. It connects via USB to garage band. My only criticism is I wish the tuner was not through the app and was visually external as I don't want to have to access the app each time to tune, defeating the pickup and go aspect.

Very very impressed with the tech in this small amp. Great for home use and I even used it as an acoustic amp at church with the volume at 8/10 and it was crystal clear and performed perfectly. Only reason I took a star off is because sometimes the signal crackles (which is probably due to the tv in my room) and the app could be a bit more intuitive. These are very minor in the overall review. I took a risk buying this before trying it and am overwhelmingly pleased!

A nice little amp, very convenient, light, and some great features. Some of the effects seem weak compared to my Katana 50, and the accompanying app needs some work. It would be nice to have more downloadable patches, the available ones are mostly for lead guitar, so not so great for rhythm or strumming.

Sounds a LOT bigger than it is. It's so light and portable you can play anywhere. I bought it for just this purpose as sometimes I want to just play and this makes it so easy. The App is straight forward too and helps you chose the perfect settings for any style.
I was prepared for the sound not to be spot on as it's housed in such a small package but was blown away at just how good it sounds.

Great speakers plus wireless! Only gripe, which may change in future, I wish you could share Efx patches via the App.
