Behringer Parapedal Wah Filter FX Pedal

The Behringer Parapedal Wah Filter is a vintage inspired wah and filter pedal that recreates a cult 1970s effect in a compact, pedalboard friendly format. With its all analogue circuit, wide vocal sweep and distinctive dual peak response, it delivers everything from classic quack and throaty leads to dramatic filter sweeps and synth like textures.

Designed for players who want more character than a standard wah, the Parapedal Wah Filter offers a unique, vocal quality that instantly stands out in a mix. Whether you are chasing retro funk and rock tones or looking to add expressive movement to modern ambient and experimental sounds, this pedal gives you a powerful, musical tool that responds directly to your foot and your playing dynamics.

The true bypass design keeps your core tone intact when the pedal is off, while the robust housing and retro styling make it feel like a genuine piece of vintage gear. Power it from a standard 9 V battery or compatible PSU and drop it straight onto your board for instant access to those classic 1970s inspired filter sounds.

Classic 1970s Inspired Wah Filter

The Parapedal Wah Filter is voiced after a wah style filter that became a studio secret weapon in the 1970s, heard on countless funk, rock and fusion recordings. Its distinctive, vocal midrange and expressive sweep make it ideal for rhythm chops, searing solos and everything in between, giving you a recognisable, era correct character at your feet.

All Analogue Circuitry

With a fully analogue signal path, the Parapedal Wah Filter delivers an authentic, organic response that feels connected to your playing. The smooth sweep and natural saturation of the filter give you a musical, touch sensitive feel that digital emulations struggle to match, making it a great choice for players who value warmth and immediacy.

Wide Vocal Sweep with Dual Peaks

A wide sweep range and two distinct frequency peaks give this pedal its signature voice. As you rock the treadle, you move through a broad spectrum of tones, from deep, rounded lows to bright, cutting highs, with a pronounced, vocal like formant quality. This makes it easy to carve out space in a busy mix and to create dramatic, talking wah effects or subtle, moving filters.

Pedalboard Friendly and Gig Ready

The Parapedal Wah Filter pairs authentic vintage styling with a compact, robust enclosure that is ready for regular gigging. True bypass switching preserves your tone when the pedal is disengaged, and the option of battery or external power gives you flexibility for stage, studio and rehearsal use.
