At the heart of Tekno are 18 fully synthesised drum voices, each its own mini drum synth. You get focused engines for kicks, snares, claps, hats, toms, percussion and more, using a mix of analogue circuit modelling, FM and digital synthesis. Deep editing access lets you shape transients, tone, decay and modulation so you can design drums for any electronic genre, from house and techno to drum and bass, trap and beyond. You can then sequence them internally, trigger via MIDI, or drag and drop audio and MIDI straight into your DAW.

Tekno v1.1 introduces a powerful internal sequencer designed for fast idea generation and evolving grooves. Smart randomisation, auto-fill and quick velocity controls make it easy to sketch new beats in moments, while variable step lengths, lane speeds and chance values let you build polyrhythms and patterns that never quite repeat. When you land on something you love, you can export it as a MIDI file directly into your DAW for further arrangement and processing.
