Product Description

It’s hard to think of an amp that’s shaped modern guitar — especially the heavy stuff — quite like the legendary Mesa Dual Rectifier Solo Head. And if the Dual Rec is a landmark, its bigger brother, the Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier Solo Head, is the skyscraper towering over it!

A modern classic, reborn

Since they first dropped in 1992, these two Mesa monsters have defined the sound of contemporary rock and metal. Entire genres were practically built around their earth‑shaking high‑gain tones for detuned chugs and thick, wall-of-sound chord progressions — with enough firepower to soundtrack a whole generation of riff‑obsessed players.

Now, more than 30 years later (and following the glorious return of the ‘90s 2‑channel Dual Rectifier), the folks at Mesa have brought back the almighty Triple Rectifier. This is the amp for players who live by the rule that “too much” is only just about enough.

Menacing look, menacing sound!

Dressed to kill in a once‑custom, now‑standard blackout suit — with blacked‑out speed knobs and that iconic black diamond plate front — the new Triple Rec looks every bit as brutal as it sounds. Spin it around and you’re met with a glowing row of tubes promising sonic devastation the moment you flip that Standby switch. Fire it up, and it’s everything you remember from the original ’90s beast: massive low‑end punch, razor‑tight attack, explosive mids and stacked harmonics.

Built in California

Hand‑made by the same artisans who crafted the first run over three decades ago, this is a genuine icon reborn. Why hunt down a tired, questionable old unit when you can get a flawless, brand‑new original and put your own miles on it? It’s huge. It’s unapologetic. And it’s ready to level stages all over again!

Features
  • 150 watts of sheer, unapologetic power: If you’ve ever thought “100 watts just isn’t enough”, the Triple Rec will drop‑kick you across the room. With 150 tube-driven watts from six 6L6 power valves, this thing delivers headroom, authority and crushing low-end that stays tight even when you’re tuned down to the basement.
  • 2 channels, 3 style modes: Two channels, each with their own Gain, EQ, Presence and Master controls, give you a huge sonic canvas to sculpt. Combine that with 3 selectable style modes per channel, and you’ve basically got multiple amps hiding inside one very angry box. Go from shimmering cleans to molten modern metal in a single stomp.
  • Blacked‑out, stage‑ready aesthetic: That once‑custom blackout look — from the diamond plate to the speed knobs — now comes standard and looks absolutely lethal under stage lights.
