Featuring a ‘60s C-shaped neck with slab Rosewood fingerboard in partnership with a 9.5” radius and Medium Jumbo frets, this Strat strikes the perfect balance of speed and comfort and is a pleasure to play up and down the fingerboard, no matter what genre. Its alder body provides a balanced and resonant tone with just the right amount of mid-range push to stand out in any situation.

We pushed the limits even further by selecting a special Nitrocellulose Road Worn finish which has been specifically aged to mimic the natural ageing and finish checking that occurs over time, even after only the most careful use. Its trio of Fender Custom Shop Texas Special pickups provides full-throttle vintage Strat tones with enough punch and bite to tear through any mix, and its Classic Series wood hardcase offers premium protection both at home and on the road.

Texas Specials

Originally introduced in the early ‘90s, the Fender Texas Special pickups were designed to reproduce the esteemed fiery-hot Texas blues Strat tones that rose to popularity in the 1980s. These over-wound vintage-styled Stratocaster pickups offer a bell-like chime, sweet highs, and a snappy bass with cutting mids that help push overdriven tones to the next level! Made using Alnico V magnets with Enamel-coated magnet wire along with period-correct pull-back cloth wire and black fibre bobbins, these pickups are perhaps the ultimate Strat pickups.
