Features
- Select Tonewoods - Heritage in name and by practice, Heritage guitars are renowned for their expertise in tonewood selection. In keeping with the classic wood formulas found in many of the most famed models, select wood is chosen for its harmonic musical resonance, weight and visual aesthetic.
- Hollow Body - This fully hollow, Heritage electric guitar offers a ‘big-body’ voice that’s rich in harmonic fullness and resonance yet still with enough articulation and bite to sing through any ensemble. Perfectly lightweight, this guitar sings like an orchestra and is the perfect choice for enhancing openness to any style of music.
- Seymour Duncan Seth Lover - Seymour Duncan's most faithful recreations of the pickups that changed the direction of music forever. Expertly crafted using all the same parts and materials as the originals, these pickups offer the esteemed open tone and articulation found on the classics.
Heritage Guitars
It's easy to admire guitars built in the ‘golden era’ and forget that behind the music, there are people who craft these instruments, tools which help make them and a building that holds everything together. In 1985, one of the most important workforces in guitar manufacturing was due to be disbanded and relocated. Leaving with it, one of the most influential guitar factories in the world, as well as a whole series of custom-made machinery and tools, which would be left to gather dust and rot. Fuelled by a desire not to leave Kalamazoo and to preserve the legacy that the world-famous factory on 225 Parsons Street had helped formulate, a group of passionate employees decided to purchase the iconic building as well as the original guitar-making equipment it housed. Fittingly named Heritage Guitars, they continue the goal of producing some of the finest handcrafted American-made guitars, made the old-fashioned way, in small quantities using only the finest materials available and built to the highest possible standards.
