Bill Kelliher is a modern metal master, known for holding down the rhythm in Mastodon. The Bill Kelliher Eclipse is his top-of-the-line, Japanese-crafted signature model, designed by Bill to provide the wide range of tones needed for Mastodon's music while being sturdy and reliable enough for his most punishing rhythms and brutal riffs throughout long tours!

The Bill Kelliher Eclipse is a traditional full body thickness guitar with no waist cut. Its Mahogany neck is joined to the body with a set-thru construction for smooth and comfortable fast access to the upper frets. It offers an Ebony fingerboard with genuine shell "ESP Flag" inlays and 22 frets, as well as binding on the body, neck, and headstock.

Its sound is generated with a set of customized Seymour Duncan Distortion pickups — the original high-output humbucker with a massive ceramic magnet and hot coil windings to deliver full-bodied rock and metal tones. These are controlled with master volume and tone knobs that each offer a push/pull function to split the bridge and neck pickups respectively. Other professional features include Sperzel Trim Lok tuners, ESP strap locks and a Tonepros Locking TOM bridge/tailpiece.
