True Analog Emulation

TAE - True Analog Emulation - Arturia's exclusive tech faithfully reproduces the tone, waveshape and tuning of an analog synth. With the Analog Lab V, Arturia recreates the characteristics of analog oscillators with amazing accuracy. Arturia have improved their reproduction of analog filters, which is a crucial aspect of subtractive synthesis and is arguably the key to reproducing authentic characteristics of analog filters in a digital setting. The implementation of soft clipping means more punch, presence and overall control over your tone is available at your convenience. TAE oscillators behave similarly to their analog counterparts. They are 'free running', meaning they are not sampled, wavetable based or generated from a 0 point when a note is played, each waveform is generated dynamically which allows Analog Lab V to very closely emulate the original devices that came before. TAE also allows the production of oscillators that are completely free of aliasing at no extra CPU cost. Utilising all this excellent analog component modelling, the Arturia Analog Lab V breathes new life into an arsenal of legendary synth presets that you're going to love.
