Product Description
Rockslide's Balltip Brass slide takes its innovative design changes that made it more comfortable and more flexible and mixes it with a dobro or lap steel style balltip slide. Still with the same tapered inside and knuckle cut this adds another dimension to the slide allowing you to play with more accuracy and detail.
Polished Brass Tone
Polished brass is an interesting material as it mixes the smoothness and response of chrome while still having the massive, thick tone of brass which is the typical option of more aggressive slide styles.
History Of Rockslide
These guys have been making slides in the USA using top of the range CNC machinery since 1999! They were the original inventors of the internally tapered slide which has been very popular with all kinds of blues, rock and country artists.
Ergonomic Design
It is not jsut the internal taper that makes this slide great. They have also cut away a portion near the back of the slide for your knuckle to allow for better movement. These come together to make a slide that is not only comfier to use but also a lot more controllable.
Here's what Rockslide say about their Polished Brass Balltip Slide
If you are into tweed and worn out looking gear these are for you. Tonally they sound similar to a standard brass balltip Rock Slide, but they resemble something from the bottom of the Bayou. We individually hand age these using a multi-step recipe of destruction. They have a smooth finish for playability.
Each slide is aged by hand. Appearance will vary from slide to slide.
