Fender FSR Stratocaster in Black with Maple Neck

The Fender Standard Stratocaster is an iconic guitar that has become one of the go to instruments for guitarists who need a powerful new guitar on a budget. Available for a limited time early this guitar changes up the look with a black pickguard and upgrades the tone with a Tex Mex neck pickup.

Iconic Stratocaster Build

With such a long history Fender arn't going to change up the stratocaster any time soon. Still using the same Alder body and all maple neck that has been used for most of the guitars long history this guitar still keeps the same feel and tone as the guitars that came before it. Thanks to these woods you can still get that beautiful, spanky single coil tone that this model is known for.

Upgraded Hardware

Like we said before this is not just your regular stratocaster. Fender have changed it up just enough to make this a great new addition to the lineup. With a Jimme Vaughn signature Text Mex pickup in the neck you get a hotter sound  making perfect for when you want to add a bit of grit. Even with this extra output though you still have a vintage inspired tone for when you want to clean up.

The Parts

There is much more than what goes in to guitar than just the pickups and woods and they are just as important. That is why this has been fitted out with a 6 saddle vintage style tremolo system for excellent tuning stability and accuracy and a set of high quality Fender tuners. Aesthetically you also have some very cool parts with a 50's style spaghetti logo, 3 ply black/white/black pickguard and aged plastic on the rest of the hardware making this a great looking guitar.
