Product Description

Fender have done it again! The new Vintera II series has built upon the success of the first Vintera launch, giving you accurate recreations of timeless, classic electric guitars from the golden eras of Fender’s history, with a sprinkle of contemporary comforts. The new Vintera II’s bring you more accurate and detailed vintage specifications, with the use of Rosewood fretboards on selected models, era specific pickups, and the addition of new guitars to the range.

The use of more traditional, vintage-style components in the Vintera II series makes them one of the most era specific guitars Fender have made. This puts the ‘50s, ‘60s, and ‘70s eras in your hands for you to wield a stylish, vintage sounding, and an authentic feeling electric guitar! The Vintera II series pays tribute to the innovatively designed instruments that defined decades of music.

50’s Fender Jazzmaster

The Fender Jazzmaster is one of the most iconic offset style electric guitars out there, with the large soapbar single coil pickups, floating tremolo, and unique lead/rhythm circuitry. The Vintera II ‘50s Jazzmaster presents you with a vintage looking and sounding recreation of the original design featuring an Alder body, and the exciting introduction of the Rosewood fretboard for that classic clear and punchy tone. The late ‘50s “C” shape neck has been precisely rounded to create an incredibly comfortable neck that gradually gets thicker towards the 12th fret, giving you the same tactile elements that you would have experienced on a Jazzmaster back in 1958.

The vintage-style ‘50s pickups provide a timeless voicing and sparkle that Fender single coils are famous for. These single coils are full of warmth, yet crystal-clear in tone for a surprising variety of tonal capabilities that give you a wide sonic nostalgic sound. The vintage-style patented ‘floating’ tremolo offers a vintage feeling warble famously known to be produced by the Jazzmaster. Using the floating tremolo, you can create subtle surf rock expressions, or more modern indie vibe dives for a range of different playable genres.
