Custom Thinline Tele NOS

What more can we say about Fender’s Custom Shop? Well, this owes inspiring Tele supplies us with that classic character done to modern perfection. Like a fine wine, this Tele is beautifully aged featuring a NOS finish to give you that brand new ‘50s feeling in your hands. The Thinline Ash body will capture resonant tones, projecting a full-bodied sound to compliment those Josefina hand-wound pickups. These legacy pickups utilize the traditional process of hand winding 43-gauge wire around Alnico III magnets in the bridge to create that famous Tele twang with a hefty low-end. Josefina’s use of Alnico V magnets in the bridge gives you that instinctively unique warm, full-bodied clean tone you would expect from a Telecaster.

Vintage Contemporary Feel

Staying true to tradition, the Custom Shop has produced a chunky “U” shaped profile neck that has been precisely finished to give you a hardwearing lacquer that is nice and smooth to run up and down the fretboard. It is perfectly balanced between a satin and gloss finish giving it a uniquely vintage feel in your hands.
