The amplifier comes with twin five-inch speakers, designed to fill the room with quality sound, and with 35 watts max power, this everyday practice companion dishes rich, resonant tones that rival amps much larger in size.

The collection of Boss Katana sounds support every musical style, and you can customize setups and enhance daily sessions with the companion BOSS Tone Studio app for iOS and Android. The amp comes with a small adaptor to plug in your instrument wirelessly, meaning you dont have to worry about any cables!

Boss Wireless System

BOSS’s acclaimed digital wireless guitar technology is at the heart of Katana-Air EX, providing transparent sound and lightning-fast response without any lag or dropouts. The included transmitter offers up to 12 hours of playing time per charge, and the integrated motion sensor and standby function conserve energy when the system is idle. This allows you to keep the transmitter plugged in between sessions and turn the system on just by picking up your instrument. When it’s time to charge, simply connect the transmitter to the amp’s convenient docking port.

The versatile Katana-Air EX has features ready for you no matter what needs you have. Built-in Bluetooth lets you wirelessly edit sounds with the BOSS Tone Studio app and play along with songs streamed from your mobile device. You can also record tracks directly to computer music software via USB and use the stereo line output with mic’d cab emulation for live performances in direct-to-PA setups. Going further, Katana-Air EX does double duty as a high-quality portable Bluetooth speaker for relaxing and enjoying tunes from your music library.
