Product Description

Fender have done it again! The new Vintera II series has built upon the success of the first Vintera launch, giving you accurate recreations of timeless, classic electric guitars from the golden eras of Fender’s history, with a sprinkle of contemporary comforts. The new Vintera II’s bring you more accurate and detailed vintage specifications, with the use of Rosewood fretboards on selected models, era specific pickups, and the addition of new guitars to the range.

The use of more traditional, vintage-style components in the Vintera II series makes them one of the most era specific guitars Fender have made. This puts the ‘50s, ‘60s, and ‘70s eras in your hands for you to wield a stylish, vintage sounding, and an authentic feeling electric guitar! The Vintera II series pays tribute to the innovatively designed instruments that defined decades of music.

’70s Fender Telecaster Bass

The Fender Vintera II Telecaster Bass is a homage to Fender’s first ever re-issue instrument. It incorporates the style of a Tele to give you something special and unique. Coined as the “revolutionary Precision” the Tele Bass features a single humbucker pickup. The vintage-style wide-range bass humbucker projects a fatter, rich, and warm sound, harkening back to the original Tele Bass that was introduced in 1968. The industry standard Alder body is known for its tonal resonance providing you with a punchy clarity and beefy midranges as well as robust low ends for a balanced sound.

The mid- 70s “C” shape Maple neck offers familiar comfortability that is tapered towards the nut providing you with the ability to play a wide range of styles wherever you are on the fretboard. The Maple fretboard and vintage tall frets give you that classic feel and an overall spanky tone, perfect for slap bass, whilst the taller frets give you plenty of room for expressive playability. Similar to what you would find on a Telecaster electric guitar, the vintage-style 2-saddle bridge is a distinct feature to this vintage recreation, with two adjustable barrel saddles that present you with vintage-correct enhanced sustain and tonal resonance. The Vintera II Telecaster Bass offers you a unique, vintage-correct recreation of an iconic Fender design with versatile playability.
