The old-school Ash body has is the basis for this Strat’s eminently resonant tone, balancing a firm low-end with sweet, airy highs. The particular piece of Ash that this Strat was constructed from was specially chosen for its lighter weight. Its been coated in a nitrocellulose finish, which promotes sustain by allowing the wood to “breathe” and age beautifully over time.

This '63 Custom Shop Strat boasts a '63s voiced single coil in the neck position, a '60s voiced single coil in the middle position, and a Seymour Duncan Antiquity humbucker in the bridge that features reverse polarity winding to cancel out the hum for a more articulate tone. These pickups have a bold, warm, and rich tone that dynamically responds to the nuances in your playing. They excel at both crystalline cleans and blistering gains. Thanks to the Strat Blender electronics, you have access to two additional tones - neck & bridge and all three pickups at once.
