Product Description

The T3 is the latest addition to Sire's T Series line-up, and the most affordable entry in their electric guitar range to date. A Larry Carlton approved model, the T3 is constructed from tonewoods and features typically found on high-end instruments — making it one of the best bang-for-your-buck guitars you can buy!

Equipped with a spanky Sire Standard-T single-coil pickup set that's full of mojo, the Sire T3 also boasts a rock-solid Maple neck adorned with a luxurious rolled-edge Rosewood fingerboard and medium jumbo frets for ultra-smooth playability. Trust us, you won't find many guitars at this price-point that are as flexible or easy to play as the stellar T3!

Key Features

  • Mahogany Body — Delivers a deep and sustain-rich sound; giving the pickups a broader and more harmonically-exciting tone.
  • 'Edgeless' Rosewood Fingerboard — A silky material with a deliciously-dark grain; enhanced with rolled edges for comfortable, played-in feel. No sharp fret ends here!
  • Medium Jumbo Frets — Semi-large size offers great control under the fingers; enabling wide vibrato and pitch-perfect string bends.
  • Sire Standard-T Pickup Set — The dual single-coil configuration provides spanky, bright tones ideal for classic rock, country, indie and more!
  • Bone Nut — Traditional, low-friction material minimises unwanted tuning slips.
  • Sire Standard-T Bridge — Plate-style chrome bridge yields that iconic T-style "twang", with the individual string saddles allowing for precise action and intonation settings.

Guitar came with no gig-bag, after every single video seen of Sire T3 review, Spoke about the "Lovely" Gig-bag? Every one! But the Neck pocket, had Gap's So I took the Neck off, and the Pocket hadn't ever Been Sanded Flat, during it's build. Un finished, half painted, Splintered wood, in the Neck pocket. Beware, Sire Concentrate their time, on the Neck build, leaving the Poor quality Fit and finish, to the Body of the T3, failure to Sand the Neck pocket is ridiculous, but usually unseen by a Player, So they can Hide it there. the Neck and Body, never had a Solid Join, the two surfaces couldn't lie flat against each other, transferring the Vibrations of the strings, into the body of the guitar, which is the Job of the Neck Pocket this was Shocking to see, and Also Caused the Neck to be out of line, the Action to rise, making it really uncomfortable with the Tall frets Disappointed

Can’t believe the quality for the price, the set up and action are lovely, the intonation is great, the neck is very smooth and for me very difficult to justify spending much more. The bridge pick up isn’t particularly a traditional tele, but sounds more rock than country twang which I prefer anyway. It’s a T style in shape but just a really good guitar for the money. Person I think it is much better that the cheaper squier guitar and certainly on a par with the classic vibe that I also have. All round really happy with this sire.

Bought this as a platform to modify with a beefy hand wound p90 voiced bridge pup and neck p90 I had in another guitar. The stock pickups weren't that good but I was replacing anyway. After polishing the frets the neck was great but the nut slots on the e,b and d where too wide and made a sitar sound. Sorted with some nut files. Switches and pots are good and the cavities are all screened. This is my third sire guitar. It's now my favourite after modifying.. Be prepared to take to a shop to get the nut sorted and set up though

The service was amazing for delivery. The frets on the guitar were scuffed badly on the 15th fret, extreme tool gouges, and could be seen by the naked eye. I know this is from the manufacturer (Sire) of poor quality assurance, but I would have thought during the checking/setup before shipping, Andertons staff would have not accepted this item as adequate to send to one of their customers. No worries, stuff happens. I'm doing note bends on that fret with the strings that it came with and will polish the frets, but I know it will only help so much. I will definitely purchase from Andertons in the future.

Mr. G. R. Tearne29th Dec 2022

I wanted a telecaster with a rosewood fretboard & was looking for some time.. This came up on a google search & I went to store & plugged it in to a Boss Katana they had in a gear trying room. These Larry Carlton Teles (T3) do not have Fender Tele voicings in any position ( Neck, mid or bridge). As in the name, they are suited more to jazzier style music on a clean setting, but this hasn't put me off because the warmer voicings crank when pushed through gain & effects. Dont expect a bright twangy sound from this guitar But..... for £369 . . . I Couldn't walk out of store without it. You wont be disappointed 👍
