PJD Craftsmanship

PJD is a Guitar Manufacturer based in York in the UK. The name PJD is dedicated to the memory of Leigh's late father who was prop maker for the Royal Opera House in London's Covent Garden. Fast forward to the present, and Leigh is putting his heart and soul into building world-class instruments with the highest level of care.

PJD Custom Shop Pickups

The PJD Custom Shop Gold Standard Foil pickups are expertly crafted to suit many music styles, making the guitar a truly diverse instrument. These pickups don't only look stunning in their Gold Foil finish, but also fill the room with some pronounced high notes, powerful lows, with a small scoop on the midrange. Play anything from Rock to Jazz and inspire everyone around you.

Tonewoods

The body is made out of hand-selected Alder which is known to be a fantastic choice for guitars due to it being lightweight, and gives a resonant, bright balanced tone with a little more emphasis in the upper midrange. The Maple neck will help towards a solid tuning stability, and the Rosewood fingerboard gives a smooth playing experience.

Fully Pleked and Serviced

This guitar comes fully Pleked and Serviced so it means you get the guitar set up to the highest standards for incredible performance. When a guitar is Pleked, it up put into a Plek Machine, which is connected to a computer which shows the exacting angles of the neck, string height and bridge height to show what adjustments can be made for higher performance.
