Product Description

Custom Shop Treatment

Created by Masterbuilder Levi Perry at the Fender Custom Shop, this Jazzmaster is truly one of a kind. From the heavy relic burgundy mist metallic finish to the iconic Josefina hand-wound Jazzmaster pickups, there is something truly unique about this electric guitar. The flat-wound pickups offer a finely tuned vintage tone. There is just something special about this timeless classic that draws you in.

Heavy Relic Finish

Precisely aged, the heavy relic finish captures a story of a well-played and travelled instrument to give you as close to an original Jazzmaster from ’63. The nitrocellulose lacquer enables the Alder tonewood to breathe and express its articulate yet warm nature. On the back of the neck, the worn away nitro treatment provides a well-played satin feel for incredible comfort and playability.

Hand Wound Josefina Pickups

The Josefina Hand-Wound Jazzmaster pickups really make this timeless workhorse sing. These pickups are the legacy at the heart of this guitar. Having been crafted with the knowledge passed down by Leo Fender himself, they deliver a vintage hot tone and dynamic range you would find on ‘60s Jazzmaster, with enriched bass, punchy mid-tones, and articulate highs for a sonically clear experience that is like no other. These pickups capture that vintage versatility you would hope to find in a Fender Jazzmaster, with the ability to add extra crunch without losing clarity in your tone thanks to the flat wound single-coil in the bridge.

The Fender Custom Shop

The Fender Custom Shop produces more than just the best guitars made by Fender. They represent the highest level of quality and attention to detail, considering the tiniest aspects in the finish, to extraordinary expressions in tone. Here at Andertons, we have the largest collections of Fender Custom Shop guitars in Europe for you to choose from.
