How many points will I earn when I shop?
We display the number of points available for a product on the product's page on our website. Normally we'll give you one point for every pound you spend, but watch out for double and triple points deals for even more savings!

Specialising in studio monitors, Event Electronics are a highly-respected brand, responsible for creating class-leading speakers that have revolutionised its industry.
History of Event Electronics
Founded during the golden era of the late 80s/early 90s studio “boom”, Event Electronics found early success with its legendary 20/20 Nearfield Studio Monitor. Constructed from top-grade materials, these monitors became the benchmark within the recording industry, with the 20/20bas (bi-amplified system) versions receiving critical acclaim across the world.
Purchased by Freedman Electronics in 2006, the parent brand of RODE Microphones, Event was reborn. With a team including some of the world’s best speaker designers, Event Electronics’ manufacturing was moved to Freedman’s Sydney-based plant in Australia.
The Event Electronics Range
Event’s flagship speaker range is the Opal series. Designing every element of this cutting-edge new speaker from scratch, the engineering team used technical acoustic theory to ensure that unmatched audio fidelity and quality was delivered.
With a hugely dynamic mid-range, comparable to some of the most expensive three-way systems, the powerful lows projected by the the Opal practically eliminate the need for a subwoofer.
