Product Description

If you are a fan of Metallica, then you will be familiar with Kirk Hammett`s 1979 Flying V Guitar. Kirk`s flying V was his first Gibson, which established himself as part of the Gibson family. He was inspired by the flying V because he was looking for a much fuller sound! The same guitar still gets played to this day, which was used on all of the early Metallica albums, making it one of the most important heavy metal guitars of all time!

This guitar is a recreation of the original. It features a Mahogany body, A Mahogany neck, which is made from one single piece, Grover tuners, and a custom bridge.

Key Features

  • Iconic Flying V – Stand out from the crowd with the iconic flying V shape, and a guitar recreated like the iconic Kirk Hammett instrument.
  • Grover Tuners – Grover locking tuners are one of the best tuners found on guitars, and they keep your guitar in tune so you have more time to play “Master of Puppets” instead of having to check your tuning!
  • Full on Sound – The Gibson USA Calibrated T-Type Humbuckers will make sure your sound punches through the mix, like “Nothing Else Matters!”
