PRS' S2 Standard 22 Satin boasts a Mahogany body, delivering a warm sound with plenty of harmonic richness in the mid-range. Joining the body is a Mahogany neck carved to PRS' acclaimed "Pattern Regular" profile. Providing a natural and supportive feel, the neck is also topped with a silky-smooth Rosewood fingerboard that offers a luxurious touch under the fingers.

Hardware & Electronics

Although this particular model may be a part of the more budget-friendly S2 line, PRS spared no expense when it came to the instrument's hardware and electronic appointments. The PRS Patented "Molded" Tremolo keeps things solid, with its beautifully-machined design offering a comfy feel and a smooth vibrato arm action. At the other end of the guitar you’ll find a set of PRS Low Mass Locking tuners that'll keep your tuning super-stable, while making string changes a lot easier too.

The PRS S2 Standard 22 comes equipped with 85/15 “S” Treble and Bass pickups, with a push/pull tone control letting you split their coils for glassy single-coil tones. The clarity and unique tones of these vintage-inspired pickups are both big and nuanced, so that you can easily find their tonal sweet spot.
