Guaranteed to perform to the highest level along while producing a modern sound character, the GA-8000 uses top-quality coupling and bypass capacitors to promise a deep and exact low frequency performance and a delicate and transparent high frequency reproduction.
Using a semiconductor active cooling system together with an external cooling heatsink, the GA-8000 ensures the highest possible signal-to-noise ratio. The tube is mounted in an aluminium casing which has the semiconductor cooling chip attached to the bottom of the case. This mic uses a ROGERS ceramic gold-plated circuit board which is typically used in high-end aerospace communication products. The capsule used is produced by a very experienced team and has a modern sound character and can handle high sound pressure levels.
A NOS CIFTE 6AU6 tube from France is used in the GA-8000 to ensure it has the longest life possible. The tube has a maximum anode voltage of 90V and will generate more heat than tubes in many other microphones which typically use between 35-50V. However, this is not an issue in the GA-8000 as the semiconductor active heat dissipation system plays a crucial role in the design of this product.
Golden Age went with a solid-state rectifier in the modern power supply after meticulous testing, this means that you're getting the best possible sound as well as the additional advantage of not having to worry about replacing tubes in the power supply.

How do I use instant finance?
It's simple! Just add the products you want to your basket and click the "Checkout" button in your basket. Go through the checkout process and tick the "Finance" option under "Select Your Payment Method". You can then choose which finance term you'd like to apply for, and change your deposit if you wish.
