An inaugural model in the J series, Sire’s Larry Carlton J3 electric guitar channels vintage vibes thanks to its traditional archtop jazz body shape that makes it easy to access the 3-way toggle to switch between rhythm and lead playing. With two new LC JM humbucker pickups, this guitar also delivers a thick sound and high output, providing a Jazzmaster model that is faithful to the basics at a very affordable price.

As well as two new LC JM humbuckers that provide a thick sound and high output, the Larry Carlton J3 guitars also come with a Sire Standard Tremolo Bridge that operates using the modern two post system. This configuration allows players to achieve the more traditional electric guitar sounds from an instrument that feels fresh and modern.

A jazz guitar made modern

With its traditional jazz guitar shape, and bolt-on Hard Maple neck, the Larry Carlton J3 has the reconstructed edgy look of an S-type guitar. Although in this case, the single-coil pickups that are synonymous with the clean, dynamic sound of traditional S-type guitars have been switched out for humbuckers, which really bring the noise.

Thanks to Sire’s Edgeless™ neck design, the rolled, smoothened edges enable your hand to glide effortlessly up and down the fretboard with assured precision. The standard diecast tuning gears also provide plenty of stability to help you stay on song.
