    Product Description

JHS Pedals are renowned for tonal excellence. Their premium stompboxes are packed full of gizmos galore and options aplenty - but they've taken a very different approach with the 3 Series Fuzz. These affordable effects have been stripped back for pure, unadulterated JHS tone suited to both beginners and pros alike.

    Raw JHS Pedals tone

Gone are the array of dials found throughout the standard JHS pedal line-up. What you're getting here is a refined, quality sound thanks to high-end electronic components and meticulous attention to detail from the Kansas City company. This is the ultimate plug-and-play pedal.

Fuzz is a distinct style of fluffy crunch, adding dynamics and dirt to your guitar sound. The 3 Series pedal is suited to both vintage and modern applications, serving up a wide variety of soaring sustain voicings. Controls here are extremely simple to use with the bias dial adding a cool gated dimension to your tone the further you turn it up. The fuzz control is genuinely usable across the full spectrum as you explore pushed amp tones, smooth old school styles and heavier crunch.

The unique fat toggle loads up on bass frequencies for a fatter, powerful punch.

JHS 3 Series Fuzz, good value, there are some nice tones you can get out of the pedal, my only reservation is that it is a little bit noisy compared to some of the other fuzz pedals I have but I can live with it.

This does exactly what i wanted - that velcro fuzz sound from turning up the 'bias' knob. But it's also a great 2 transistor interactive fuzzbox in its own right, a bit like a fuzz face. Sounds great with a crunchy amp for some heavy heady fuzz tones.

Pretty good fuzz. I'm not the best judge of fuzz.

A great fuzz - the bias control when used subtly is great to really create some great tones - slight break up to a wall of FUZZZZZZZZZ

A fantastic sounding fuzz for the price, you might say unbeatable! The only thing that might be a drawback for some is that the volume drops off quite a lot with the bias knob past 10 o'clock onwards. This is because the circuit is being starved of voltage and therefore outputs less and less level as you turn the knob clockwise. I found that maxing out the volume control just about compensates for this though! A beautiful take on the classic "fuzz face" style circuit, difficult to go wrong if you're already a fan of this type of sound.

Great pedal, i love the sound and simplicity. It doesn't clean up as much as i'd hoped when i roll back the guitar volume, but that may be my set up, i need to experiment more. For the money, i'm really happy with it.

Truly awesome fuzz pedal. The bias control takes it from gritty sustainy fuzz, over to 'velcro' with gate, all the way up to notes that barely pop into existence then fizzle away rapidly in spitting gnarly fuzzy death throes.... sorry how else do you explain that sound? :D The volume pot, 10 o clock is around parity with the clean tone. Above gets really loud... Fuzz pot, all the way over to the right, the fuzz rolls off nicely with the guitar's volume controls. Sound - epic. Looks - seriously... it's a box you stand on regularly - excellent, I don't need to worry about taking off spurious fancy artwork! :D Value - I'm surprised this was in the $99 line, and not another £160+ pedal. Durability - We'll see, but it's a metal box....
