Product Description

Attaining that super-cool octave up/down guitar effect has never been easier, thanks to Landlord FX's Bottoms Up pedal! This uber-affordable stompbox is designed to easily squeeze onto any pedalboard thanks to its practical, mini-sized enclosure — capable of creating a layered doubled-like effect that'll easily turn heads on-stage, or become your secret weapon in the studio!

Octave Up, Down or Both?

That's right, the Bottoms Up can do all three! Via its simple mode toggle switch, you can configure this pedal to add two octaves above (Top), one octave above and one below (Both), or two octaves below (Bottom). The level/mix of these octaves can then be controlled via the dedicated Oct 1 and Oct 2 controls, while your original guitar signal can be blended in with the Dry knob.

Some great sounds, originally bought it to emulate bass guitar, but there's a bit of a delay between hitting my strings and getting the bass frequencies out the speaker. It does make my guitar sound like an electric organ though.

The Landlord octave pedal, can get really strange depending on settings. At one point it sounded like a Caribbean steel drum - which isn’t my thing. I bought it out of curiosity because it was quite affordable.

I took a punt, but it’s not a good tone, the octaves are out of tune. Not to be confused with an Octaver, since it’s not tracking the input note. The DSP shifts whatever it gets, even noise. In your own video you were also struggling to find a use, maybe a little thickening after distortion, but it’s not musicall.
