The Rangemaster treble booster is one of the holy grail pedals that shaped British Rock. From Rory Gallagher, to Brian May, to Richie Blackmore, the Rangemaster was the core ingredient to their signature sounds. Perfect for pairing with an overdriving amp, the Rangemaster saturates the upper midrange frequencies, producing a musical, vocal-like singing sustain. As part of the compact series, this classic sound is available in a pedalboard friendly enclosure.
Here's what British Pedal Company say about the Compact Series Rangemaster Treble Booster
This is a detailed compact replica of one of the world’s most iconic effects. The Dallas Rangemaster treble booster, originally produced in 1965 has been used by many of the worlds most respected artists including Eric Clapton, Tony Iommi, Rory Gallagher, Brian May, Marc Bolan, Richie Blackmore, and many more… although classed as a Treble Booster the Rangemaster was used as an overdrive pedal to give a more distorted but focused tone with many classic British amplifiers that included the legendary Marshall Bluesbreaker and Vox AC30.
- Small Compact Pedal Casing
- New Gain Selected OC44 Transistor
