Maybe Fender's most-loved electric guitar wood combination of Alder, Maple and Rosewood, this ’63 Strat does it right! With its 2-piece Alder body, Quarter Sawn Maple neck and AAA slab Rosewood fingerboard this Strat does it in Premium styling. Tonally, it's well-balanced with with a slight push in the upper mids as you'd expect from a '60s Strat. The guitar sustains nicely and at 8lb it’sa very comfortable weight.

The neck is big enough that you can still wrap your thumb over and feel the whole guitar shake as you strum the strings as hard as you can yet still thin enough that you can effortlessly shred up and down the neck.

These hand-wound Texas Special pickups are possibly the ultimate Stratocaster pickup. All the bell-like chime, sweet highs and snappy bass but with increased output to really drive your gain.
