The Atom Nashville Overdrive is essentially the green side of Browne Amplification's popular Protein Dual Overdrive pedal, distilled into a more compact standalone unit. While this circuit originated from the classic ODR-1 circuit, it is not a clone. Browne Amplification lowered the gain to make it useable throughout the entire sweep of the knob, adjusted the EQ section to make it less scooped, restored some of the mids, and tightened up the low-end (to add just the right amount of low mid "beef" back into your tone, without becoming muddy). Browne Amps also redesigned the power section to make it feel more like a tube amp that's working hard!
A Unique Overdrive Blend
The Browne Amplification Atom is a unique overdrive all on its own. Imagine an ODR-1 and a Tube Screamer came together and ended the war between them. The strong alliance that would be formed is the Atom pedal!
Fattens Up Any Amp!
Another aspect of the Atom's uniqueness is found in its ability to transform a thin-sounding amp (or an amp that has to be quiet and can't be pushed) to feel like an amp that is projecting some air and has some weight to it. This is accomplished by adding the right combination of lows and mids, as well as giving you a little bit of sag that makes playing a loud tube amp so enjoyable.
The Atom is an extremely versatile tool to have in your arsenal. Take some time to really get to know it, and you will fall in love. It has soft switching with an adjustable startup state and a beautiful matte powder coat called 'Flat Dark Earth', keeping the Atom in the militaristic aesthetic loved by fans of Browne Amplification.

How do I use instant finance?
It's simple! Just add the products you want to your basket and click the "Checkout" button in your basket. Go through the checkout process and tick the "Finance" option under "Select Your Payment Method". You can then choose which finance term you'd like to apply for, and change your deposit if you wish.
At the end of the checkout you'll be taken to the V12 Finance web site. This is where your finance application is processed. Assuming your application is accepted you'll be able to place your deposit and confirm your order right there.
Then, your order will come through to Andertons and we'll send you the goods. Get approval before 3pm and we'll send your order out the same working day (stock permitting) for next working day delivery!
Who can apply for finance?
You must: spend over £300, be at least 18 years of age, have been a UK resident for 3 years or more, be able to make repayments by Direct Debit, be in regular employment (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment, or in permanent residence with your partner who is in regular employment.
