SKU: PDF-2
The Stone Deaf PDF-2 is the sequel to the (you guessed it) PDF-1 pedal! Unlike most sequels though, the PDF-2 is a marked improvement over the original release — of which is regarded as a modern classic stompbox that's been used by the likes of Josh Homme (Queens Of The Stone Age) and Nick Valensi (The Strokes) to the craft thick, punchy medium-gain overdrive tones that make their riffs instantly recognisable.
The PDF-2 packs far more under the hood though — with an adjustable gain control that gives you more available drive, dual footswitches for hands-free toggling between the clean and dirty channels, as well as a lower noise-floor for less hiss and feedback. In short, the Stone Deaf PDF-2 can easily cover all of your overdrive and distortion needs with its super-flexible design!
2 Channels & Adjustable EQ
Pedalboards are getting overly complicated nowadays, especially for those who like to have control of every aspect of their tone right at their feet. With the PDF-2, you get to shrink down your setup as the unit essentially works as an all-in-one boost, distortion and EQ — with its footswitchable modes and frequency/bandwidth controls that let you precisely sculpt the perfect sound.
This intuitive configuration enables to you dial in a tone that best suits your guitar and amp, and can spruce up the sound of any dull or weak-sounding rig. In fact, the PDF-2 can pretty much turn any clean amplifier into a 3-channel monster!
