The Fender Johnny Marr Jaguar pays tribute to Johnny in a way that is as fantastically non-standard as the man himself!

The Johnny Marr Jaguar is built on the classic Fender foundation of an Alder body and a Maple neck. The neck profile has been carved to match that of Johnny's iconic '65 Jaguar and the Rosewood fingerboard features the same 7.25" radius for a genuine vintage playing experience. A set of custom-wound Johnny Marr pickups, made by Bare Knuckle in the UK, provide all the jangly tones with which Marr is so synonymous. There are a host of switching options on hand to keep even the biggest of tone-tinkerers happy, and a Jaguar bridge with Mustang saddles delivers plenty of vintage vibrato sounds whilst maintaining excellent tuning stability.

The Johnny Marr Jaguar comes with a deluxe hardshell case and includes a vintage-style strap, lead and certificate of authenticity.

• Mustang Bridge Saddles - Vintage Jaguar saddles were notorious for strings popping out. Many players tend to swap them out for a Mustang bridge with deeper grooves to alleviate this.
• Gloss Nitrocellulose Lacquer Neck - Nitrocellulose, or Nitro for short, is a very thin, vintage lacquer that ages nicely over time. The more you play the guitar, the more comfortable and worn in it will feel.
