This exquisite 'Made 2 Measure' 1958 Les Paul is one of the finest Gibson Custom Shop creations we've ever seen! Based on Danish Pete's 'True Historic' Tom Murphy '58 Les Paul Reissue — a "holy grail" guitar that he fell in love with during a visit to Gibson's London showroom a few years ago — this spellbinding instrument is an immensely-detailed recreation of that captivating LP, which evokes plenty of mouth-watering "Golden Era" charm.
'Made 2 Measure' Danish Pete 1958 Les Paul
Pete Honoré and Lee Anderton have since returned to Gibson's London HQ to spec a number of Custom Shop '58 Les Pauls through the brand's 'Made 2 Measure' programme. These instruments are heavily inspired by the Les Paul that captured Danish Pete's heart, with Gibson carefully analysing the original and copying everything from the pickups to the neck profile!

During the ordering process, Lee and Pete inspected several exemplary flamed/figured Maple tops from the Gibson Custom Shop menu. The pair managed to narrow down their favourite few — which have been used for this incredible M2M Custom Shop run. Trust us, there really aren't many Gibson Les Pauls out there that look as good as these!
Murphy Lab 'Light Aged' Finish
This particular model has been expertly-aged by Gibson's 'Murphy Lab' division, to provide the ultimate vintage look, feel and ownership experience. Boasting their 'Light Aged' nitrocellulose "lacquer cracked" finish, paired with lightly aged hardware, this aesthetic simulates decades of subtle playing wear — giving it the unique character and vibe of an original '58 Les Paul.

How do I use instant finance?
It's simple! Just add the products you want to your basket and click the "Checkout" button in your basket. Go through the checkout process and tick the "Finance" option under "Select Your Payment Method". You can then choose which finance term you'd like to apply for, and change your deposit if you wish.
At the end of the checkout you'll be taken to the V12 Finance web site. This is where your finance application is processed. Assuming your application is accepted you'll be able to place your deposit and confirm your order right there.
Then, your order will come through to Andertons and we'll send you the goods. Get approval before 3pm and we'll send your order out the same working day (stock permitting) for next working day delivery!
Who can apply for finance?
You must: spend over £300, be at least 18 years of age, have been a UK resident for 3 years or more, be able to make repayments by Direct Debit, be in regular employment (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment, or in permanent residence with your partner who is in regular employment.
