Darkglass' innovative bass preamps have been used on countless records over the last decade, and to celebrate the unit that started it all — they've has released this stealthy 10th Anniversary B7K!
Limited to just 400 units worldwide, this celebratory stompbox features a cool 'black obsidian' enclosure and textless icon-only engravings — all contained within a finely-crafted wooden box. Paying homage to a device that's now reached "modern classic" status, this collectable pedal is also "a tribute to every bass player that believed in the adventure of cutting into the mix, and a commendation for the incredible support and loyalty that we have received since our humble beginnings" — in Darkglass Electronics' own words.
Key Features
- Level: Sets the volume of the overdriven signal.
- Drive: Sets the amount of saturation in the overdriven signal.
- Blend: Mixes the clean input signal with the overdriven signal. The clean signal remains at unity gain while the volume of the overdriven signal is set by the Level knob, allowing for fine control of the blend ratio.
- Grunt Switch: Sets the amount of low frequency content to saturate by selecting between three different bass boost levels before the clipping stage.
- Attack Switch: Sets the amount of treble content to saturate: The "Boost" setting emphasises the treble content; extra clarity and presence. The "Flat" position leaves this register untouched while the "Cut" position will reduce the amount of high frequencies being saturated.
- Low: +-12dB @ 100Hz
- Low Mids: +-12dB @ 1kHz
- Hi Mids: +-12dB @ 2.8kHz
- Treble: +-12dB @ 5kHz
- Direct Output: A balanced version of the ¼” output, useful for running into PA systems or studio mixing consoles.

How do I use instant finance?
It's simple! Just add the products you want to your basket and click the "Checkout" button in your basket. Go through the checkout process and tick the "Finance" option under "Select Your Payment Method". You can then choose which finance term you'd like to apply for, and change your deposit if you wish.
At the end of the checkout you'll be taken to the V12 Finance web site. This is where your finance application is processed. Assuming your application is accepted you'll be able to place your deposit and confirm your order right there.
Then, your order will come through to Andertons and we'll send you the goods. Get approval before 3pm and we'll send your order out the same working day (stock permitting) for next working day delivery!
Who can apply for finance?
You must: spend over £300, be at least 18 years of age, have been a UK resident for 3 years or more, be able to make repayments by Direct Debit, be in regular employment (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment, or in permanent residence with your partner who is in regular employment.
