Product Description

Regarded as some of the finest acoustic guitars in the world, Lowden produce some exquisite and unique instruments. They are a product of true craftsmanship, utilising premium tonewoods and an immaculate attention to detail. Founded in the 1970’s by George Lowden, each guitar is hand-built in Northern Ireland using traditional techniques to maintain the highest quality and standards. Lowden represent the pinnacle of acoustic craftsmanship, making every guitar they make a work of art!

The Lowden S-34J Koa and Alpine Spruce LR Baggs Session VTC Electro Acoustic Guitar offers a comfortable instrument for all types of acoustic guitar player, whether you prefer nylon or steel strings. The combination of tone woods used in Lowden’s Jazz range are designed to give you tons of projection, rich tones, and plenty of low-end for a full-bodied bass. The silky-smooth GL Jazz neck profile finds that sweet spot for all players, giving you a perfect balance in width so you can easily transition from intricate chords to chiming fingerstyle forms.

The Lowden Jazz Series are fitted with built in pickups for articulated, natural acoustic response. The LR Baggs Session VTC system has a built-in saturation that has been voiced to be able to produce an analogue warmth to amplify the acoustic sound. They have developed their pickups with a built in EQ system to prevent your guitar from overreacting when being played through loud systems for a more precise and delicate acoustic sound that projects clarity in the voice.
