What is Second Hand?

Product Description

Here we have one of the Tama Warlord collection snares, which are super rare and collectable drums. Tama made a range of four snare drum in 2008 to show off their craftsmanship and design and released a range of snare that were exotic shell materials matched with Swarovski Crystal Lugs. The goal was to make some beautiful sounding and looking drums that were as powerful as they were rare. The range was called the Warlord range as it was themed around historical elite groups of gods and warriors. The drum was designed to showcase Tamas ability to make drums and want for sonic domination of the kit and playing situation. These drums were all inspired by power, discipline, and elan of each of the name givers. Tama wanted you to go to sound war with the best weapon you can have, made from the best material poseable and looking amazing doing it. This titanium shelled drum was added to the lineup of four drums in 2010 bolstering the Warlord range to six.

Key Features:

  • The Lugs and Badge:
As you can see and it might even be the first things you see, is the eye-catching glint of the lugs and badge. These are actual Swarovski crystals embedded in the lugs and badge and apart from the sound, this really adds to the impressiveness of each drum and gives the drum an aggressive but gorgeous look. Also adds to the rarity of each drum because no other manufacture has done a product run quite like these.
  • R.S.E:
What is R.S.E? This was the bearing edge and inside shell construction on the inside of all the metal Warlord shells apart from the cast bell brass one. It acted as a hollow chamber and made the drum more resonate by sits under the bear edge and head. In short it is a rolled and welded triangular hollow pocket as you can see in the below picture.
  • Rare... like really rare:
These drums are super rare and the metal ones are rarer than the wooden ones and more expensive. It's highly unlikely you'll come across these in the wild, this drum comes from the same collector.
