Once the mix has been finished in Cubase Elements, you can seamlessly send your audio material to WaveLab Elements by using the post-processing option in the Cubase Elements Export Audio Mixdown dialog. This way you can start the mastering process right away without searching for files on your hard drive.

Wavelab 9 is the latest incarnation of Steinberg's massive audio editing software. With a new look and feel and a bunch of new plugins and other enhancements, Wavelab 9 offers a massive step up in your audio editing workflow.
WaveLab Elements is an audio editing and mastering software, perfectly tailored to hobby musicians, radio freelancers and home studio owners. Based on the approved WaveLab Pro mastering solution, the WaveLab Elements highlights proven editing and analysis tools, a valuable selection of restoration and mastering plug-ins, a CD burning engine and much more — all accessible through an intuitive user interface.
Wavelab 9 has completely overhauled its workflow to a new single-window interface which features familiar-feeling ribbon tabs and a window docking system that can easily adapt to multiple display monitors. This new system is easy to learn and has both the depth of control and adaptability to personalise your workflow and make it lightning fast when that deadline approaches!

WaveLab Elements 9 introduces a revolutionary new user experience that allows for an incomparably fast and convenient workflow. The new single-window interface contains a central tab area, incorporating the most often used functions and the waveform display. The tool windows above provide all metering displays, markers, file browser and more. The basic master section also comes in a new layout and includes additional functions. WaveLab Elements 9 also lets you adapt the layout to your individual needs by offering an easy-to-use new window docking system.
The ribbon and tab layout
The central area of WaveLab is based on a ribbon layout consisting of several individual tabs for the most often used WaveLab functions, such as edit, fades, analysis, render and more. All tabs are context sensitive and only appear dynamically.
Another advantage of the ribbon bar lies in its ability to provide fixed views of all functions in contrast drop-down menus in older program layouts. This way, the tools you’re working with are always visible, on hand and located at the very same position. Also a part of the Ribbon bar is the new File tab menu, grouping all functions together for setting up the project, as well as exporting audio material in different file formats such as DDP.
New docking system
WaveLab Elements 9 introduces a new multi-monitor-friendly docking system that allows for a more flexible and easy window handling than before. WaveLab Elements 9 automatically suggests where you can dock-in floating windows.
MasterRig
One of the most creative features in WaveLab Elements 9 is MasterRig, a mastering suite derived from the high-end mastering solution WaveLab Pro 9. MasterRig in WaveLab Elements 9 provides up to five plug-in slots that can be loaded with all-new professional effects such as EQ, Compressor, Saturator, Imager and Limiter.
MasterRig’s enormous flexibility lets you easily organize your effect chain per drag-and-drop. You can even customize the main display through further options, letting you adapt MasterRig to your individual needs.
4-Band EQ
MasterRig introduces a high-quality 4-Band EQ. You can choose between four different EQ types per band, while band 1 also offers cut filters with a slope of up to 48dB.
Compressor
The Compressor module can be set up to two bands and it offers two different compressor types for each band.
Saturator
MasterRig also includes a 2-Band Saturator that allows you to add analog warmth and/or vintage character to your audio material. Each band allow you to choose between tape and tube saturation.
Imager
MasterRig’s Imager gives you the possibility to expand or narrow down the stereo width of your audio material as well as to adjust the stereo image for each of its two frequency bands independently.
Limiter
Usually the last unit in a mastering chain before dithering, MasterRig also comes with a Limiter, including a Harmonics section that allows you to add soft overdrive to your signal. Furthermore you can apply a Brickwall Limiter or a Maximizer to increase the loudness of your track.

How do I use instant finance?
It's simple! Just add the products you want to your basket and click the "Checkout" button in your basket. Go through the checkout process and tick the "Finance" option under "Select Your Payment Method". You can then choose which finance term you'd like to apply for, and change your deposit if you wish.
At the end of the checkout you'll be taken to the V12 Finance web site. This is where your finance application is processed. Assuming your application is accepted you'll be able to place your deposit and confirm your order right there.
