Another tool on Mojo Hand FX's extensive and colourful overdrive belt, the Magpie has a 3-way toggle switch, allowing you to flick between three distinct modes:
- Crunch - offering you a low to mid-gain, subtly compressed sound for extra sizzle with hints of fuzz.
- Boost - the clean, transparent option that kicks your tone up a notch for when you need to soar a little higher!
- Overdrive - bring out the harmonic richness of your sound with a little low-gain sheen, perfect for isolated guitar parts that need to sing!
The Magpie will make the perfect addition to your chain if you're looking to liven up the front end of your tone. Its true bypass circuitry ensures that it'll only ever compliment your existing tone - if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all!
The tone and gain controls can be tweaked back and forth in combination with the 3-way toggle switch, so you'll discover sonic sweet spots you never thought existed!

The Mojo Hand FX Magpie is a transparent overdrive designed for the player that wants that little something extra while still maintaining the character of their guitar and amp. The Magpie features a 3-way toggle for different clipping options. The up position is the “Crunch” setting. It features more compression and a dirtier overall tone than the bottom two positions. It’s great for low to medium gain sounds. The middle position is the “Boost” setting. It removes diodes from the clipping section allowing for a nice signal boost that’s great for pushing the front end of your favorite tube amp. The down position is the “Overdrive” setting. It provides low gain sweetness with just a touch of edge.

How do I use instant finance?
It's simple! Just add the products you want to your basket and click the "Checkout" button in your basket. Go through the checkout process and tick the "Finance" option under "Select Your Payment Method". You can then choose which finance term you'd like to apply for, and change your deposit if you wish.
At the end of the checkout you'll be taken to the V12 Finance web site. This is where your finance application is processed. Assuming your application is accepted you'll be able to place your deposit and confirm your order right there.
Then, your order will come through to Andertons and we'll send you the goods. Get approval before 3pm and we'll send your order out the same working day (stock permitting) for next working day delivery!
Who can apply for finance?
You must: spend over £300, be at least 18 years of age, have been a UK resident for 3 years or more, be able to make repayments by Direct Debit, be in regular employment (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment, or in permanent residence with your partner who is in regular employment.
