The AP700 offers something a little different to the Celviano line up. Designed for the ultimate piano purist, the AP700 features 3 of the world's finest grand pianos for you to play. Dubbed the Berlin, Hamburg, and Vienna Grands, each one is the result of countless hours of precise analysis and study of their unique characteristics. They are faithful and expressive recreations of these distinctive pianos. String/damper resonance, mechanical sounds, and other subtle nuances complete the experience of owning three of the finest pianos on Earth. A total of 26 tones are included, including other essential instruments like organs, electric pianos, harpsichord, and more.
These fantastic tones can be combined with Casio's hall simulator, which puts any of these tones in real acoustic spaces; whether you're looking for the dry environment of a small studio, or the massive sound of Notre Dame Cathedral, you can play as if you're there in the building with one of the best pianos in the world!
The AP700's 6 speaker configuration combined with dual 30 Watt amplifiers are acousticly spaced within a classic cabinet design to offer that natural sound when you play; with even more dynamic range and an even richer tonal spectrum. The Adjustable Piano lid gives the player a range of lightly muted and more open tones, just as you would get from lifting the lid of a real piano. The AP650 is an excellent choice for both the home environment and a decent sized performance space.
All built-in tones in the Celviano Pianos are created using AiR (Acoustic and intelligent Resonator) Technology. The AiR processor utilizes grand piano samples recorded at four dynamics sampling to deliver grand piano sounds with long natural decays and remarkable expression.
AiR tones also feature the subtleties that form a piano's sound, including hammer response and something called natural string resonance which recreates the sound of the sympathetic strings when the damper pedal is raised. This gives the piano sounds it's classic rich tone and resonance.

Simulated Ebony and Ivory Keys and a naturally firm touch is graded with the lower notes feeling a little heavier than the higher notes, Just like the real thing.
In addition to the instrument's fantastic tones and digital effects, the Celviano has a "concert play" function, featuring 15 orchestral pieces that you can play along to. You're able to practice at slow tempos and a full orchestra will encourage you to keep going, even when you make mistakes. There are also lesson features so that you can learn each hand separately Then, when you're ready you can perform at full tempo to your friends, and enjoy the feeling of playing along with other instruments.
