5 Essential Effects with Pedalboard, Power Supply & Patch Cables!

SKU: _BUN-PEDALBOARD-7

Product Description

Our carefully-curated 'Ambient' pedalboard bundle encompasses all of the essential effects that you'll need to create lush, layered and out-of-this-world soundscapes! This is the easiest and most cost-effective way to start experimenting with guitar pedals. Included in this package are a combination of Landlord FX and Tone City mini stompboxes — perfectly suited for players looking to form a simple sonic palette that won't take up too much space.

These effects can be mounted onto the included Ordo PB-5S-B pedalboard, which is a fantastic small-footprint platform. It's built like a tank, and even comes with a gig bag that allows for easy transport to gigs or recording sessions! The bundle also comes with reliable right-angle patch cables for linking your effects together, as well as a power supply and daisy chain cable to power them all with.

Included Pedals:

Tone City Blues Man Overdrive

Inspired by a pedal released in 1992 by a famous British amp company (and famously used by John Mayer), the Tone City Blues Man brings that same vibe at just a fraction of the price. This stompbox will add smooth overdrive to your sound without colouring it, so that the character of your guitar and amp will shine through as clear as ever. It's a fantastic tone-enhancer!

Tone City Tremble Tremolo

Tremolo was one of the very first effects to really take over the guitar world, originally built into boutique American-made amplifiers from the '50s and '60s. This effect is extremely popular for creating large swelling chords and surf-style sounds, and the Tone City Tremble handles all of that classic tremolo character with ease. It's incredibly tweakable and simple to operate too!

Landlord FX Taproom Delay

Let's be honest — a "dry" guitar tone doesn't sound great, does it? A solo or clean arpeggiated passage with zero effects on it can sound sterile and anaemic, which is why you need a delay pedal that can add glorious, ambient wetness to your signal! It's simply the ultimate guitar thickener/enhancer, and Landlord FX's Taproom Delay brings classic no-frills ambience to the table. Tweak the Taproom's three simple controls for a range of classic delay sounds — there's heaps on tap!

Tone City Tape Machine Delay

What's better than one delay pedal? Two delay pedals, of course! By using two together, you can set different delay times to form cool, rhythmic patterns (just like The Edge from U2). The Tone City Tape Machine Delay is a stunning part-analogue, part-digital delay pedal that's designed to keep your dry signal crisp and clear by running through an analogue circuit, while the delay sounds are processed by a high-quality digital circuit. This gives you the best of both worlds, culminating in a beautifully clear and versatile delay.

Landlord FX Banging Hangover Reverb

Soothe your tonal aches and pains with the ultimate cure: the Banging Hangover reverb from Landlord FX! It has three flexible modes ('Room', 'Plate' and 'Spring') which emulate some of the most iconic 'verb sounds that you'll hear across all of music. The 'Mix' control determines how much dry signal you can hear, while the 'Tone' knob shapes your reverb sound. Soft, edgy, warm — the choice is yours! The 'Reverb' control is where the magic happens though. This affects the length of the reverb tail; in doing so, it takes you from soothing ambience to dizzying echoes and everything in between.

Recommended Pedal Signal Chain/Order:

Guitar > Tone City Blues Man Overdrive > Tone City Tremble Tremolo > Landlord FX Taproom Delay > Tone City Tape Machine Delay > Landlord FX Banging Hangover Reverb > Amp

Our recommended pedal order will probably yield the best results, but with an ambient board, you can pretty much break all of the rules! Swap certain effects around to dicover unique and experimental tones. That's the beauty of pedalboard building!
