In the words of ThorpyFX founder Adrian Thorpe MBE, the Team Medic's purpose is to provide first aid for your tone. The pedal has been redesigned to reduce its size so it fits neatly on Pedaltrain boards.
Sound
The Team Medic combines the crucial functionality of three pedal types: buffer, active EQ and boost. It uses class A buffer circuitry to give your tone a new lease of life, ensuring that signal loss is kept to a minimum and your guitar sounds pronounced and crystal clear.
Active EQ circuitry is designed to give you all the tonal legroom you desire. A simple 3-band interface means it's super easy to dial in the tone that you're after, whether you're looking to boost your low-end or add some high-mid sparkle. Adrian Thorpe is so confident of its capability, he claims it can make a Strat sound like a Les Paul - it must be doing something right!
Finally, a stacked boost circuit essentially gives you the punch of two boost pedals in one; whether you're looking for a dynamic lift with some crispness to boot, or full front-end tube overdrive, the Team Medic will patch your tone right up.
Premium components
ThorpyFX pedals are built to last. The unique recessed look protects the dials from breakage and the dangers of touring. Its metal casing ensures the delicate circuit is well housed.
Only the very best electronics have gone into building ThorpyFX pedals. 1% metalfilm resistors, Wima and Panasonic capacitors, Neutrik jacks and a Burr-Brown Opamp deliver a crisp effect.
