James Hetfield and ESP have been working together for years now. From classic EX style models to the Iron Cross and even the Snakebyte every James Hetfield guitar that ESP have made has been absolutely killer and now the Vulture will join the lineup as the only Hetfield V style guitar in the current lineup.
Iconic Build
While the shape is new and modern the materials used to build this guitar have always been used with V style models. Using a Mahogany body with a set in Mahogany neck and Ebony fingerboard you will feel at home instantly if you are used to classic Vs or James' other signature models. These materials help produce that powerful, tight and heavy sound that Metallica are known for.
EMG Pickups
For many years James Hettfield has used EMG pickups. It may have started with the 60, 81 and 85 models but over the years he has tweaked them to fit more in to the modern thrash sound that Metallica use today. These pickups are called the Het Set and have improved on the original designs with solid pole pieces and slight EQ shifts for more low end response and punch that reacts to your playing.
Smooth To Play
James Hetfield needs to easily switch between heavy rhythm tones and fast leads at a moment's notice. The EMG Het Set pickups handle that perfectly and to make sure there are no hiccups along the way the guitar has been designed to maximise playability. From the Thin U shape neck which is incredibly easy to play to the near frictionless Ebony fretboard you are set up to rock at all times with this guitar.

How do I use instant finance?
It's simple! Just add the products you want to your basket and click the "Checkout" button in your basket. Go through the checkout process and tick the "Finance" option under "Select Your Payment Method". You can then choose which finance term you'd like to apply for, and change your deposit if you wish.
At the end of the checkout you'll be taken to the V12 Finance web site. This is where your finance application is processed. Assuming your application is accepted you'll be able to place your deposit and confirm your order right there.
Then, your order will come through to Andertons and we'll send you the goods. Get approval before 3pm and we'll send your order out the same working day (stock permitting) for next working day delivery!
Who can apply for finance?
You must: spend over £300, be at least 18 years of age, have been a UK resident for 3 years or more, be able to make repayments by Direct Debit, be in regular employment (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment, or in permanent residence with your partner who is in regular employment.
